ABOUT ADAM

Adam Valdez CPA PLLC got its start in 1970 as Stanush Income Tax and Bookkeeping Service by Mary Stanush. In 1983, Mary’s son, Richard, and his wife joined the team. Today, Adam Valdez is the third-generation owner and operator of this trusted San Antonio accounting firm. Together with his wife, Amber, Mary Stanush’s granddaughter, Adam proudly provides tax services San Antonio can be confident in.

Adam discovered his love of accounting early on in college and earned his Bachelor of business administration in accounting from from Baylor’s Hankamer School of Business. Since graduating, he has relished in the opportunity to truly help people on a daily basis.

At Adam Valdez CPA PLLC, Adam approaches each person individually to give customized care and attention to everyone. No issue or problem is too big or too small here, Adam is committed to guiding his clients through whatever individual or business needs they have. He feels blessed to be able to work with his clients every day and help them make the best decisions.

Keeping his business about people is one of Adam’s primary goals at Adam Valdez CPA PLLC. Standing behind his clients is a source of pride for Adam. At the end of the day, Adam is driven by watching his clients grow and succeed. doing something that they’re passionate about.

At his core, Adam is a family man. His family is his pride and joy, and he loves spending time with them. Traveling and volunteering also play a large role in Adam’s life. He and his wife love to travel and volunteer, doing what they can to help their community and society as a whole.

  1. STANUSH INCOME TAX & BOOKKEEPING SERVICE ESTABLISHED

    Adam Valdez CPA PLLC started as Stanush Tax and Bookkeeping Service in the early 70s by Mary Stanush. Mary was working at a local tax office when her entrepreneurial spirit took over and she began meeting with clients at her home.

  2. THE BUSINESS TAKES THE NEXT STEPS

    Mary eventually had built up enough clients to move them out of her living room and into her own office space.

  3. 2ND GENERATION OF FAMILY OWNERSHIP

    The business continued to flourish and Mary's son, Richard, and his wife Sharon joined her team.

  4. ADAM IS INTRODUCED TO THE OFFICE

    While still attending Baylor, Adam began helping out the at office during the busy tax season. Then, after graduation and some additional years of working for a CPA firm in San Antonio, Adam joined in the family business full time.

  5. 3RD GENERATION OF FAMILY OWNERS

    Now working alongside his wife Amber, Mary's granddaughter/Richard's niece, the family business has transitioned to its third generation.
